The Mid Atlantic cup series has completed and the team fared out pretty well. We all had a great time. Mike and the guys at Racers Edge always put forth a great effort and make courses fun and challenging for all skill levels. This year the weather played some major havoc on a couple of venues that should have been the pinnacle of all DH racing. The Highly anticipated White tail / Capital cup was a horrid mess, but still thrilled the crowed.
The Bear Creek finals were wet and muddy and their now famous up hill was more to the liking of the super D set, but all in all it was another great year.
All in all the team finished with a couple state championships, and plenty of top finishes in the series.
Big shouts out to Gabe for killing the competition in the DS and finishing first in the series. Also to John Sr. for showing the competition that next year they are in trouble. Jake finished only a few points put of first despite broken chains, flat tires and 2 crashes during the season. We also have high hopes for Chad, Eric, and Steve. Their seasons were limited due to injuries, babies and new houses, but next year will be different.
We also salute our Friends as well. Reading Racings Jon Kranzel, and Hillary Elgert for their series wins, and Jason Gunther. For Killing the DH all year and wining the series title. No one deserves this win more than Jason. He is one of the hardest working men in DH.
I would also like to take a moment to apologize to all the regular visitors to the site. Due to some other personal responsibilities I have not updated the site very often in the last few months. Hel,l it’s riding season and you shouldn’t be in the house sitting on a computer anyway. I will do my best to update more often and supply you with all the interesting stuff that makes this one of the greatest sports on the planet.
One final note: to all you sue happy assholes. You know who you are. The people who want to be millionaires because you refuse to take responsibility for the consequences of your own actions. Get a grip on morality. If you get hurt doing something you should not be doing in the first place. Blame yourself. Not a landowner. I hope you live a long life and your conscience keeps you awake every night until the day you die!!
