06' State of affairs

Hello everyone!!. I know it has been a while since I actually wrote anything of substance here. I, like a lot of you, have been hibernating most of the winter on the couch drooling over Mountain bike and Porno DVD’s well actually the only porn I have is some ancient vids that are made from converted films from the 60’s. There collectors items, Damnit!!!!.
Any way it has been a long but fruitful winter. Things at the shop are going great despite my temporary absence. Jon Jr. is really turning into quite the businessman. I have decided to put a bit more effort into the team support this year. I put a lot of my time and effort last season into Jon Jr’s team, Reading Racing, and that will not change for this year. They are a good bunch of guys and I do not mind offering them a little help when they need it. I have been requested by some friends to bring the Kranzel Bike team to the plate. So I figured why not. We all know the shop is pretty much a hobby to me anyway so why not share all I can.
The 06 team at the moment looks like 7 guys from all ages to all abilities. The crew is made up from DH beginners, sports, and experts, as well as some x bmxr 4x and DS racers.
I am currently working on some new colors and logos for our jerseys as well as a major sponsor to help out. The shop will be offering full support with special pricing and parts and mechanical help at the races. The cool thing this year is 4 out of the 7 guys on the team are also top-notch mechanics. We may not make the Podium every race, but we damn sure aren’t going to have any mechanical DNF”S.
There are plenty of spots open, but if anyone else is interested you better get on board soon. We are on a tight budget and I do not know if there will be any extra Jerseys available once we get them printed.
If you are not interested in the team, but are in need of a part to put you back in the show stop by, if we can spare it you can have it.
The race team thing is all about fun and friendship. Although we all like to win and some of us more than others may be obsessed with it, but we do this for the fun and the thrill. Believe me if this life becomes less than fun I would, in the drop of a hat, do something else. I wish I could do that with my job, but I really can’t like so many others afford to quit. I will not let that happen for the rest of my life. That is probably one of the reasons I am single, being short, fat, balding, boring and homely is the other
We have a great calendar this year as well. Over 25 venues to choose from, that is freaking AWSOME!!!!!! We are booking for the entire MAC series. The US Open. Both east coast nationals, Snowshoe # 3 & 5 and anything those cool cats at Reading Racing put on.Somewhere we plan on squeezing in a couple Plattys and Diablo days as well.
We are going to be making some changes to the web site pretty soon. I would thing by now we could actually put something in the who we are section. Plus we will be doing a meet the team section and race reporting and product reviews by our own merry band of loonies that will be forever known as Team Kranzel Bike.
Hang loose, be cool, feed you head, and buckle up. Let the games begin!!!!!!
