VOUILLOZ WINS MEGAVALANCHE!
First a rally title - then another mtb title
Nicolas Vouilloz, who just last week won the French National Rally Car Championships, got another taste of victory this weekend at the Megavalanche in Riding the X-160 model that he developed in close collaboration with Lapierre's R&D department, Nico was able to finish ahead of last year's winner, Remy Absalon. The 10X World Champion stopped racing in bike competitions in order to concentrate on his rally car career, but his latest results suggest that he is more than capable of handling both! The X-160 uses Lapierre's new FPS2 virtual pivot point suspension system. It boasts160mm of rear travel (I know, surprising) and the DH-230 has….230mm. There are 3 versions of the X-160 at different specs and price points. For the first time Lapierre bikes are available in Canada - although for the moment only in Quebec
