Brendan Fairclough is flying the Honda G-Cross team colors.
Date:Sun Dec 31, 2006 You’ve probably heard the rumours about Brendan ‘Brendog’ Fairclough moving to Honda, and yes it is true, the young British downhill ace who won the inaugural Junior World Cup Downhill overall in 2006 is going to be riding for the ‘Honda G-Cross’ team this year. This is a massive step as he pursues his career as a professional downhiller. He will make his first appearance for his new team at the Maxxis cup in Gouveia in Portugal on March 18. The other Honda riders are also making appearances at the National Point Series races in England. There will be the team mechanics publicly fixing those amazing G-Cross bikes as well, this will be a major crowd puller for the UK races. It is going to be a very hectic year for Brendan as he is competing in national and international races. honda were very pleased with not only his on track performance but his organisation and the way he goes about things. Now with two team mates who are also his very good friends he will be able to improve on his already outstanding riding. Brendan’s main aim is to get more podium finishes in the men’s races and stay one of the biggest riders out there on the World Cup circuit. And now that he is on these bikes there is no doubt that he will continue to do that
